PEP's May Newsletter

Local Communities Show Appreciation to Schools!
May is known nationally as the month when a spotlight of appreciation is focused on educators. It has been a wonderful thing to hear from schools about the outpouring of support from local organizations, parents, and PTA/PTO groups! There were lots of treats, lunches, and thank yous delivered to hundreds of educators. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting schools! The future of our society is impacted greatly by the education that is happening right now in our schools. You are literally impacting your future by supporting PEP and our local schools. THANK YOU!
PEP has a couple of shout-outs that it would like to do this month:
-The first is to Chico bakeries Upper Crust and Tin Roof that partnered with PEP to provide gift cards to local educators.
-The second shout-out is to Klean Kanteen, who again provided us with thousands of dollars worth of product for local schools.
With school out in a few weeks, we know that this will be an especially busy time for schools with end-of-the-year assessments and report cards. Sometimes student behaviors can flare up a bit due to the excitement or sadness of the ending of the year. I encourage you to think about a teacher or two that you can share a special note of thanks with or take a coffee and sweet treat to, to give them an extra boost during this stressful time.
